  KBCの 2019年10月2日（水） 報道によると、 ＊春日市に残る20軒の米軍ハウス だそうだ。 1945年の敗戦後に開設された「板付ベース」は、約30年後、日本に返還されるまで春日市に存在しました。朝鮮戦争の際は前線拠点となり、ピーク時には約2500人のアメリカ人軍人が生活していたといわれています。基地周辺にはそうした米軍将兵用の住宅がたくさん建設され、通称「米軍ハウス」と呼ばれました。「米軍ハウス」には当時としては珍しい出窓があり、屋根はモルタル塗装。玄関近くの外壁には、「板付エアベース」を表わす「IAB」などの表記があります。 https://kbc.co.jp/shiritaka/detail.php?mid=4&cid=60&cdid=14704
